How to Refill Printer Ink Cartridges – Step-by-Step Guide
This step-by-step cartridge refilling guide will help you identify the correct refill holes, refill your ink cartridge properly, and troubleshoot common issues you may face after refilling.

How to Refill an Ink Cartridge

Step 1: Remove sticker on top of the cartridge

Step 2: Drill or enlarge holes if required
(May not be required in HP Cartridges)

Step 3: Draw the appropriate refill ink into the syringe and slowly inject it into the correct refill hole.

Step 4: Gently press the printhead against a clean tissue to check whether all colours are flowing correctly.
Missing Colours After Refilling?

Step 5: Insert the cartridge in printer and take print

Follow the steps below If colors are missing on a tissue paper or lining comes on the print like this
Solution 1: Soaking the head in Luke warm water

Take some luke warm water (Height: 1/4 inch)

Keep the print head soaked in water for 10 mins (Do not dip the electrical contacts)

Rub the print head on a paper napkin to see if all 3 colors are appearing.
If on taking the print, you observe lines on the page, repeat step 1 again or proceed to Solution 2

Tip: Alternatively you can blow air in the cartridge if you don’t have the suction tool
